When it was released, after all the hype around ARTPOP it seemed a huge letdown. Especially after we'd had that flawless Aura demo leak, I was expecting something huge and edgy. Instead we got a pretty generic pop song with unrelatable lyrics - although to give praise where praise is due both the lyric video and official video are fantastic. The monotone droning 'applause, applause, applause' makes me cry a little though. So weak compared to previous leads. So DWUW wins for me. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
