Bebe 17,093
It's going to be a really crowded fall, though - Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Susan Boyle, Take That, One Direction, Barbra Streisand, Michael Buble, Olly Murs, Adele, Madonna, U2, and Gwen Stefani are all believed to be releasing in Q4. Without a strong lead single (which it won't have - top 40 will never play a full out jazz song no matter how good it is), I worry that it'll get swamped by one of the other big releases. I'm sure it will sell well, but it would be really tough to get #1 against this competition. Tony and Gaga's biggest competition right now are mostly just rumoured. Maybe we will be hearing more in the upcoming weeks but I am not too scared even if all of these end up true. September is a big month, of course there will be some competition. I just wouldn't expect it to be as packed as last year. If timed right, they can manage a number one debut. I wouldn't worry too much about a strong lead single, the Jazz market is different to the pop market. I don't expect that the singles will do exceptionally.I would just be a little wary of doubting Gaga and Tony's separate and combined selling power just yet.
