Those Hyped Up with C2C because of potential success (ranty post)

yeah it's funny

It's no hypocritical when people say "I don't care about pop-gaga anymore, you guys only like that because she was popular back then. I can't wait for c2c, people are gonna like her and she will sell millions again"

..what?

Tony's albums sell very well. But yeah.. a duet album with Lady Gaga, personally I don't see it attracting the "GP" (forgive me) or the popular jazz public, maybe not even Tony's fanbase :rip:

But it actually shocked me as well how this interesting side project (that could potentially be successful) turned into "this is gonna be her next comeback!" "she's gonna slay the world" "this album will make her so big!" in the course of a few months, just because her main album is not doing well :toofunny: It's so obvious it's almost funny, but it's really not.

yeah I mean I never thought about it being a proper album you know? It's a side-project. It's gonna gonna be an "era". People are ****ing stupid. I wanna myself in my knee with a bow and arrow and bleed out.

I really don't think anyone is expecting C2C to blow up on the charts. It's a jazz album. When was the last time a jazz album had hits?

I want to hear her voice, that is all.

You really are on point with this but within the fan community this number is a bit too small to be significant

I'm hyped cause we are finally going to get an album from her where it's all about her amazing voice. That's all that matters to me.

She should do music for the charts. She creates the best things when doing that. Just Dance, PF, BR, Alejandro and all the others. When she's making art... Well, look at the chart position of G.U.Y.  :hor: I'm not hyped for C2C bcause Jazz is not my type of music, but I would love to hear Jazz versions from ha older songs. Like the Applause on some TV-show I cant rember. And please do not attack me, I am entitled to my own opinion.  :nick:

ARTPOP was for the charts, including GUY. I mean for God's sakes, GUY is totally old school Gaga written all over it. Just listen to it.  That is what she was hoping for when she said ARTPOP was TFM little sister. She was trying to listen to her fans when they were b---hing about BTW because it was too preachy and serious. and now look where that got her. Now the fans are not happy because it didn't slay the charts, and the critics panned her. I honestly think she should do whatever her heart tells her, because listening to fans did not work.

What you TF/TFM nostalgic fail to understand is that at the beginning of your career, when you finally blow up, it is SO MUCH EASIER to get a hit, because you are fresh and the new thing. As years go by, it is much harder to get those hits, and sometimes, doing the same formula does not work, hence, ARTPOP, or better yet Judas. lol.

Oh, and btw, I really don't care for this C2C project. I rather have a nice pop album. I am not that big into Jazz, especially with Tony Bennett. lol.  :laughga:

I would prefer 1-2 songs made into some kind of modern pop jazz hybrid, but not an entire album with Tony Bennett.  :millie:

Yawn.

TELL 'EM! :worship2:

Little Monsters are so easily swayed by chart success. Most of the people who shade ARTP0oP now probably loved it when it first came out and then the reviews came in and suddenly they change their opinions. And of course they'll deny it and give a stupid and false excuse like "ARTPOP is too bubblegum pop" and YES people actually say that. :sharon:

I'm gonne honest and say I'm not hyped for C2C. I just don't dig jazz. But if it's good then I'll like it.

I don't care about what her chart position is. I don't care about her fans that obsess over her chart positions either.

Here for the vocals tbh... Not a lot of popstars are as versatile as her and she's just doing what she loves! C2C itself is not made for the charts, its made for jazz fans as jazz music is truly quality..its class tbh

It is just annoying that some fans are just thirsty and all they care is for charts (most importantly) and critical acclaim. It is so annoying that at the beginning, everybody was licking ARTPOP's balls even before it came out. People were like, this is gonna be Gaga's comeback, and she is gonna be big like the Fame. And when it came out, most loved the music, and were all hyped up. But as soon as it didn't do as well in the charts as some expected, now it's her worst album, and all the sudden BTW is held in high grounds (when it was continuously dissed during the era, because it didn't do as well as TF and the TFM). It is just irritating.

I mean, you kinda nailed it. If anything, I think the vast majority of critics were kinder to ARTPOP than some fans here.
