Pre-recorded vocals should not be included at all unless it's something like a distorted vocal which would be a nuisance to reproduce live. I'm not here for Gaga lip-syncing to her own tracks when we know she's a great singer live. Heck, maybe better live than in studio, and why hide that beneath the same track you can listen to at home whenever you want? In fact, if she toned down the dancing, sets, and costumes in order to include more musicians and completely eliminate the backing track, I'd take that. The main reason I like her is for her live presentations and that includes the band (especially the drums). I don't care about space and dancers. I care about the music. She can tour with only a guitar and I will be there listening but if she only sings with a computer I'm out. I can do that myself. Can I vanish into a cheeseburger pizza?
