Memo 176
DEFINITELY keep live instrumentation, just do something different. she used to have live background singers and a violinist. Alejandro at the MB was EVERYTHING
Sakrai 4,759
Kill this thread. Kill it with Fire. This. Just no, completely out of question. Live musicians are what gives your show musical credibility. A live band is essential if you want a good and serious show. Gaga is a musician ffs. Her live band is one of the few things that I consider imperative tbh. Oh, I'm just visiting-
HausOfAntonio 8,021
Yes. I think if she shows gonna be a "rave", she might as well make it as electronic as possible and make the stage even cooler.
Tropico 4,145
Nah. If I wanted to hear the exact same sound I could listen to it at home for free. The Band gives it a new sound which is fun. ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢
lego 44,165
hell no. the band make the music a million times better. She needs to get rid of all backing tracks and bring back live backup singers. Schwerk 7,246
Hell no. If anything she should stop using prerecorded backing vocals. This. Gagas a musician whos true artistry and musicality shines with a band and backing vocalists. Spanky and Kern are everything with those pounding rhythms. Jist a tape would be boring to me, especially when visiting multiple concerts. According to Gaga I'm a ****ing rad bitch

LilVenusian 579
Every live touring act who can afford it has a band. People expect it and it usually says alot about the quality of the show and the artist. An artist running around on a fancy stage singing to the studio track looks kind of dodgy, especially for a massive big budget touring act like gaga. The only time she would suddenly get rid of her band members is if she was going through some serious financial crisis and definitely not because its "distracting".
