That's only because Youtube has grown since then. The views for Applause really aren't anything special for today's standards.

They're pretty great regardless. I guess they're normal for international pop stars, but overall its still impressive.

The Fame Monster. Even though it's the shortest, 7/8 songs could have been huge hits.

The Fame of course too, that could have had 2-3 more smashes.

Born This Way had the least, I think the 5 they chose were the only ones with any potential.

Better Day

IMO ARTPOP had the least fillers ... Venus, Applause, MANiCURE, DWUW, Gypsy, Dope, Aura (although that might have been tough to sell to the GP) and maybe as in a big maybe Swine for the clubs ...

*MANiCURE

Slayer

Though I prefer BTW and ARTPOP, I think TFM is the album with the most obvious singles.

I love judas SO MUCH but I canʹt look like a copycat of JLO!!!!

Don't get me wrong. I'm happy with the views for Applause. I'm just saying that other stars have pulled off massive views in short amounts of time during the past two years or so, aka the time when Youtube became truly massive. I just hope that GaGa can pull that off again one day soon.

The Fame should had Starstruck as a single dear god

THIS. No one here has mentioned that yet. And CLEARLY it was in the perfect position to go #1 at the time. Especially with flo-rida bein at his peak radio wise back then. I really don't get how interscope was gonna move forward with boys boys boys. When everyone I know (including non-fans) LOVE Starstuckk. The beginning is ICONIC

She missed the vital streaming year of 2012

Tommy Monster

ARTPOP had so much potential singles... Aura, Venus, Sexxx Dreams, ARTPOP, Swine, Gypsy... such a shame :smh:

Also shame of Monster... and Scheisse and HML (Those instead of Yuyi and that mess of a song MTN :smh: those would have smashed hard...)

TF/TFM but it could have jeopardised BTW's popularity and longevity imo

I think it would have done the exact opposite actually. By releasing more singles from both TF and TFM, GaGa would have had to push BTW back (or should have, at least), which would have been beneficial. When Gaga released BTW people were already getting slightly tired of her. She was the definition of overexposed. By releasing let's say two more singles from TFM GaGa and her team would have hopefully made the decision to release BTW a year later, as to give time for those two songs to grow on radio and give the GP a small break from her. Also, I'm sure those singles from TF/TFM would have been quite successful, which would have ultimately given the radio an incentive to play her new music from BTW more often. That's my theory at least.

I still will never understand how in the world people think songs like Aura would be a hit :lmao:

Like, we are Gaga fans because WE like that kind of music. Nobody else (especially not the GP) is here for that!

TF and TFM had the most single choices.

I go to a Christian (!!!!!) School and they're all "GP". And no one hates Aura! My friend says it's the best (along with Gypay and Applause) from ARTPOP.

Aura could be a single just without the burqa part.

OT: ARTPOP. :gaga:

It has so many missed opurtunities. It hurts to think that this era could've easily been her best if given the right treatement.

Aura, Venus, G.U.Y. (With promo!!!), Sexxx Dreams, JnD (yes, it's true), MANiCURE, Donatella, Fashion!, Gypsy... All wasted. :emo:

TFM.... Gaga was everywhere those days....the 3 most watched GAGAVEVO videos are BR, Alejandro , Telephone

Applause, ha weave snatching is imminent :creepflop:

On a serious note, I honestly think TF had more single-worthy songs in addition to those that had already been released. Starstruck, Boys Boys Boys, Summerboy, I Like It Rouch would have done well in my opinion.

TFM really only had Monster and SHICD. SHICD was a much better candidate than DITD.

BTW had Scheisse and HML. Maybe EC
