ARTPOP just didn't live up to the hype Gaga and her team created around it.  Some people either like it, or hate it.  Not everybody can like everything.  I personally can't stand the album, and haven't listened to it since probably February of 2014, but life goes on.  A new album will come out eventually.

It's not the most underrated album ever. My God.

I think the album was killed by it's own hype. She was so cryptic and mysterious over it - and the music we got was music we sorta expect from her (& I'll never forgive DJ White Shadow for editing her vocals and making them sound plastic).

Whoa. Okay. I was taken too extremely.

I meant ARTPOP is a "bad" album in comparison to her OWN work. The worst out of her first four. ARTPOP isn't a bad album in general. If it were her first, she would be just as successful as with The Fame, or more.

I don't compare her to other artists that way, every artist competes against themselves.

I disagree with how this album was executed, but I believe if all things I mentioned before weren't in her way, ARTPOP would've probably been bigger than her last two (hmmm not sure about Born This Way, since message trumps music sometimes)

Not trying to hurt feelings, just how I perceived the entire era.

I'm not pressed. Don't hate me because my opinion is different than yours, that's why I didn't say this in 2013 or 2014. I was hoping by now I could have a voice.

Hating someone to an intolerant level for having a different opinion is bigotry. I'm not a bigot and I know you guys aren't either...

Gaga remains flawless.

ByeBye49

The era was amazing, my favourite one actually. It did get really messy, but it was still fun watching the performances, listening to ARTPOP, going to artRAVE, etc.

ARTPOP was equally amazing, I still remember everyone freaking out over Gypsy and Sexxxx Dreams. Haha.
