Theyre so unique and infectious Preach :trootea: the words may be less catchy than the chorus but they're more addictive somehow in the verses the way she sings. I stand here wa-he-ting fo you to say the TRUTH!! Same for me also. The entire song is just really clean and explosive to me. Applause is Bad Romance 2.0 tbh. Plus the versus are conversational. It's like she blows up the crowd with the chorus, and then turns to just you and says, "I've overheard your theory..." It's such a ride. And it's interesting how it's not about s-x -- just fame. Sex songs are great, but as soon as Applause came out, it was timeless.
