Rollercoaster

The fact that it sounds as if I'd heard it before on first listen.

And heroin. Lots of heroin gets secretly deposited into your blood when you listen.

For me it's ver vocals, especially on the verses. Theyre so unique and infectious :flutter:

Preach :trootea: the words may be less catchy than the chorus but they're more addictive somehow in the verses the way she sings.

I stand here wa-he-ting fo you to say the TRUTH!!

Same for me also.

The entire song is just really clean and explosive to me. Applause is Bad Romance 2.0 tbh. The slayage is real. :legend:

I think Bill Werde said is has one of the most "sumptuous" choruses Gaga has ever written, and I have to agree. Plus the versus are conversational. It's like she blows up the crowd with the chorus, and then turns to just you and says, "I've overheard your theory..." It's such a ride. And it's interesting how it's not about s-x -- just fame. Sex songs are great, but as soon as Applause came out, it was timeless.

Everything. The flawless instrumentals, the unique vocal style during the verses (obviously Bowie-inspired, but still unique and unexpected), the strange yet honest lyrics, the catchy hooks, I could go on...

I don't know, it's just a perfect song
Remember before releasing Applause, we were asking "how could this song ever be catchy and stay in our ear" when she released some lyrics on Twitter? :laughga:

I agree and all, but do you remember how she said that it barely made the album?

What about THAT? What does it tells us that in this era it seems like she killed/almost killed everything catchy and orgasmic. From visuals to sounds?
