I don't understand why you guys get all upset when she smokes marijuana, but act as if drinking alcohol is any better. Doesn't make any sense. She never really said she'd stop smoking marijuana, but she did make a pledge to herself saying she doesn't need it to be happy or be a creative person. My ex-bf started on c-----e, and it's a slippery slope to meth from there. He's lost two years of his life to coke and meth, has been raped by old HIV+ men (swine) because of it, and can never again live where he grew up again due to PTSD from his d--g use. I wont be able to see him without taking a 3 hour plane ride now and I've lost my best and closest friend in life. Most people who start on coke, eventually decide to try meth and it's MORE physically addictive than heroin. Even when he was only doing coke alone the addiction was HORRIBLE and would have eventually ruined his savings, education, and life if meth was never involved. She has specifically, time and again, stated that she is talking about weed in the song DOPE. You are making things up and spreading your imagined ideas as some kind of fact, and it is completely inaccurate. uhhh excuse me. But dope is the street name for heroin. I know. Three of my closest friends are in rehab for it and my ex boyfriend is in for meth addiction. Please don't try to belittle me and act like I'm talking out of my ass. No one in the d--g world refers to weed as "dope". Only people who don't smoke and think it's some horrible d--g refer to it as so. No one who actually does d--gs calls weed that. If gaga said she was talking about weed that's one thing and I'd love to see the receipts of where she said the song Dope is SPECIFICALLY about weed and not d--g use in general. But regardless the point still remains that dope refers to hard d--gs (when not talking about something being cool) and specifically dope refers to heroin. Never smoked weed (or taken any non-medicinal d--g, really) but those studies specified that delayed development and/or neural anomalies due to pot smoking were the product of years and years of serious abuse, most of the people in the trial having started at around 15 years old up until their mid twenties. Those ten years are unique in how important they are for brain development. If you're older than 25-26, either you're probably sort of off the hook or the damage has already been done.
