A Disco album needs to happen from her.

Personally, I would love for Gaga to collaborate with Benny and Bjorn of ABBA, two musical GODs

I would die, i mean Bjorn and Benny collaborated with Avicii so Gaga isn't that far of a stretch.

How about a "The Fame Returns" album

Note: I used a versace outtake to create this. I was bored one night

I don't have a strong opinion about disco (the genre) either way, but I'm sure with Gaga's touch, it could be fantastic.

there really arent even...everyone just thinks because Daft Punk did it that its "old" and "tired" ... and because of the disco snippet that is rumored to be Madonna's... everyone on here just exaggerates... the only other song i could kinda see fitting into this that has been from a top 40's popstar is Walking On Air from Katy, but its really just a house song to be honest

As for her doing something more minimal and subversive I meant something thats her of course but pared down to a sick ass hook and clean/expensive production. Something that sounds more mature both lyrically and production wise.

Its hard for me to give an example because I feel thats limiting (yes I sound pretentious) but maybe something more along the lines of that Dance In the Dark remix she did at the 2010 Brit Awards? And I have no issue with horror theming, she played with that in The Fame Monster and I really feel like its so her and it works so well.

i LOVE the brit awards remix so i would definitely be down for a sound similar... i feel like all the synth work on TFM sounded wayyyy more expensive and sleek in general... i cant help but feel like ARTPOP's beats were REALLY watered down and almost muffled/cheap sounding... the only a--logy i can relate it to sound wise is TFM being made on Logic in an expensive studio with PROFESSIONAL producers, and AP being made in a random DJ's studio on garageband... not shading the songs but i cant help but feel theres a lack of power and bass in this album, which i was really expecting to be ON POINT considering DJWS's work is so bass focused.  and yeahhhh i feel like Dark pop is really her "thing"   i think she should stick to it mostly (and rock maybe) and build a brand/sound for herself

That's what I thought.

People are saying the trend is over before it has even begun lol

And tbh I don't even see disco becoming a trend. Funk on the other hand is arguable.

The Fame Monster does sound like her most expensive and chic-est album. I don't think that production wise ARTPOP sounded cheap tbh, I feel that way about Born This Way. Even with the songs I liked (i.e. Government Hooker and Bloody Mary) they're dope but at the same time somehow inexpensive and that sounds like ridiculous terminology to use regarding music but obviously im not a producer and I don't know the lingo, but you get me lol

Theres a dark synthpop undercurrent in all of her albums. I want her to make an album that like acknowledges that completely.

But she has Cheek to Cheek coming out and im also curious as to how working on this adult contemporary jazz record with Tony Bennett has influenced her mindset about what kind of music to make for her next record.

Well I didn't think it was old or tired because of Daft Punk. I just feel as though its a tried and true pop aesthetic and one that I never mind being present, its just to make an album that completely centers itself on being "disco" or "space disco" just isn't a very interesting concept at this point. I mean Kylie has been doing that for her entire career practically. Madonna completely did it on Confessions even referring to it as space disco. There was a whole disco-fembot-pop thing going on in 2010 with Robyn, Kelis, Kylie, and even trickling all the way down to Xtina's record. Not to mention Gaga already had what she referred to as her faux-disco aesthetic on The Fame and now with throwbacks on ARTPOP like Fashion. I can even remember her and Zedd referring to certain songs on ARTPOP as futuristic disco. So idk, its just something thats been done before even by her. I have 0 issue with disco influences, but as an entire concept for a record or production theming? Nah.
