For example, that year that Firework won video of the year, they kept "Born This Way" away from that category so it wouldn't win because they knew Gaga fans would vote for BTW and it had already won Bad Romance last year. It's disgusting! Congratulations to all nominees, whether good video, good song or just a "basic" smash, there is a reason why they're nominated and that's well deserved! No hard feelings!!! Katy clearly had more impact video wise by FAR, she has two videos with more than 450 million views and another one with more than 100 million views. If I was a Katycat I will be PISSED. It's like they had have snubbed Gaga in 2010 with Alejandro, Telephone and Bad Romance breaking records everywhere (I know it's not the same but just a similar case). OMG Impact=/= best video. The worst videos of the year are nominated for the 'Best...'. I knew they wouldn't give Gaga anything special but I never know the will go such-standard to attract viewrs. Anyway, the true winners:- Video of the Year - G.U.Y. Best Female Video - G.U.Y. Best Pop Video - Applause Best Direction - G.U.Y. Best Cinematography - G.U.Y. Best Art Direction - G.U.Y. Best Special Effects - Applause Best Choreography - G.U.Y. Best Editing - Applause These two videos are so good that I would feel embarresed to compare them to those nominated this year lol.
