jxckk 959
I imagine most of the budget was blown on the stage which looks very expensive. Her past tours were more expensive, but sometimes the simplest move is right! I can't wait to experience the artRAVE live. And no, it isn't a "budget tour" if that means it's a low budget tour. The catwalks (and its transportation) and the outfits by Versace were actually expensive. versace needs new inspiration because everything they make for gaga these days is bland af. did they even take her measurements correctly? the gypsy dress is far too big for her. Punky 15
I think some are getting way too caught up on the OP's use of the term "budget tour." I think his overall statement is true. While the show was a blast, I still have many issues with it's lack of bling and flair. And I think what's missing was a big budget like her last two tours had. All the way throughout TFB and TMB Gaga kept saying "I'm putting every penny I have into this show" and you could believe it. She isn't saying it with the Artpop Ball, but if she was, would we believe it? No.
RAMROD 109,777
Not even, no budget tours held in arenas, the best they could do are Universities Auditoriums, Hotel Ballrooms, and Walmart tours. skaxboy 5,619
It doesn't look as elaborate production wise as the past shows. Monster Ball 2.0 the stage neon lights moved away and had the green car, the BDR jungle gym thing, subway car, fire piano, living dress and that round screen for "the twister", the blow up black trees, Bleeding statue, the monster, and the orbit. BTWB had the huge castle, mother GOAT, the horse, the table/gun, BTW birthing chicken legs, the Electric Chapel box, the motorcycle, the meat couch and all the meat grinder stuff. For artrave we really only have the piano that's always there, the Venus flowers, he chairs, the claw, and the rave girl changing box thing. Plus the artrave cloud thing on the main stage is pretty bland to me. I wish this tour was crazier or even had a disco stick for the older songs. Pain of fame1 229
I don't know, but I personally prefer the artRave stage the most, It's simple yes, but along with the lighting it's just It seems so clean yet epic! THIS. artRAVE is the best GAGA TOUR
Battle 4 Ur Life 6,721
A 'budget tour' is what she did in 2008 when she played clubs wearing the same outfit night after night with just a disco stick as a prop. It's definitely not a budget tour cheaper than BTWB =/= budget tour. yeah. I believe I miss-xpressed myself. the artRave is far from a "budget" tour. but it looks and feel cheaper than her previous. nonetheless is one of her most beautiful. to me BTWB>>>artRave>>>TMB>>>TFB “Fantastic, chic, freak, slay.”
monstronic 23
I went to the Atlanta show and it's definitely lower budget than BTWBall, which had an absolutely MASSIVE stage with lots of moving parts. But I'm OK with that. It was the best show I've ever been to, and the inflatable latex vibe fit the theme of a "fun" show.
Guille 1,206
It somehow looks cheap to me, but I think it is meant to look simple yet clean and direct.Nothing will top the BTWBall, the castle was incredible to see in real life So true
