I'm not really excited for this album tbh. I like Jazz, but I was hoping for more amazing pop music from Gaga since there isn't much amazing new pop out there right now besides Pills N Potions. Tony's Elvis comment is still making me cringe everytime I think of C2C.

she's very popular, but right now she's not number one, she's not everywhere, she's not loved by everyone like she was for 5 years, it couldn't last forever. she'll be back on the track one day again, just wait.

 

and doing a jazz album is a way of reinvention. just look at what Madonna did in 90 - 98, so many different styles from jazz, dance, rnb and ballads, I never expected Gaga to do just pop and electropop.

It's not that I'm not exited, it is just that I am not a huge fan of jazz. But I will die if it is all like The Lady is a Tramp because I loved that song.

I think it's unfair for everyone to think just because Tony made a few remarks shading PopGa she's going to drop it all together. I think it's great that she's doing something she has such a passion for and with someone she truly admires, but I don't think that means she's going to become Sinatra. If she wants to make more jazz, great--but I think that she'll always be "JazzGa" and "PopGa" instead of one over the other, just like how it is right now.

I'm not super excited but it's a much better alternative to Act 2. She needs a reset of sorts and that's exactly what this is. A stripped down showcase of her talent. It'll be a nice bridge between ARTPOP and the next album.

Because they aren't really fans of Gaga's music, they're just fans for her hits and "popular music." I enjoy almost all of Gaga's music, even "Sometimes" the over-auto tuned demo slays me lyrically.

 

wrong, how you can judge me based on a statement saying that i didn't like jazz music? i dont need to like everything gaga does, good for you for enjoying all of her genres of music she dips her toes into, must make you a better fan than me though, right?
