If I had the money I'd totally pay for it. but those tickets aren't for the working class tbh (myself included) you either can afford them or you can't. I also don't think she's contradicting herself. There will always be people who are willing to pay more to meet their idol. Besides, it's after the concert so she's exhausted, she can charge whatever she wants, she isn't being snob, she is acting like any other artist in the business. And we all know Gaga is high maintenance so she needs any extra money she can get. she's being smart and imo it's not overpriced at all. I prefer when she just took fans out of the front rows for free. I was really disappointed that she decided to do this after all the preaching about how she is nobody's "Queen" and how her fans are her friends. I'm sorry, Gaga. She suddenly just forgot that during BTWB she would invite fans backstage for free and Interscope brings these fans to her without her knowing that they paid 4000 dollars to see her for a few seconds? However to pay that much for dinner with an artist, whom I get is very influential in all, is outrageous. You'd need a real self evaluation check in what your spending your money on because that is not worth it, just go and watch her sing her ass off live and go eat and enjoy the rest of your night with friends tbh. But you can bet I'm going to eat what they give me and demand more, and when Gaga comes to meet me she better sit her ass down and be prepared to discuss life, politics, music and the industry for hours. I then want several selfies with her, and many pics of me and Asia posing together. Then I want to take home my very own personal Asia puppy. But I don't have the money. I'm an average middle class citizen in the world. If I'm going to pay that much then it better be worth my while, I may love Gaga, and she may be my hero, but she is just a human. I'm not about to pay that much just to meet another human being. Of course if you're the child of some millionaire then by all means enjoy yourself, I'll enjoy my general standing tickets and having to get into fights with other audience members just to get back to my spot with my friends after I went to the bathroom Life ain't Hollywood for any one of us.
