No she hasn't. Only in the beginning of the year but as soon as Roseland Ballroom Era started Gaga was super happy. From then it's only been getting better for her. She has so much fun at artRAVE especially is seems during Venus. And Asia has made her really happy.

I can't believe some of you would rather have Gaga crying and cutting herself and possibly considering suicide just for the sake of y'all getting an album filled with bops. And it sounds like for music 10 it means just chart power becuase ARTPOP is hella good yet it didn't slay chart wise. So you'd all (referring to people giving music 10) rather have Gaga, who cares so much for everybody, be sad and hating her life and maybe even making Princess Die a reality just to see her at #1.

i recognize that she has pulled off the concept to a degree. ARTPOP itself is not flawed, it's shame the GP didn't go for it   a lot of mismanagement at the start of the era imo. and a lot of the fanbase dont seem to stan for ARTPOP the same because it didnt achieve the success of previous albums, but ive always thought her best work was often not the hits that went global anyway

Exactly. Like people would love the album if it had BTW or TFM sales.

And I feel if Gaga had had the management or was allowed the freedom she desired then we'd have probably one of her best eras. It really is a great album (my favorite) and I just feel the GP plus fans were to hard on her this era. :noparty:

I hope that you know there are people (a lot actually) who have an issue with the album for another reason than the charts. I have seen a lot of well-explained criticisms with nothing related to the sales on this forum.

Yes, that's true. There are people who have a reasonable reason to dislike the album.

But I'm 90% sure if the album had opened with BEYONCE sales almost all the people who dislike ARTPOP would be praising it. :manicure:

I agree on the fact that some people would praise it.

 

But look at Born This Way for example. Even with the huge sales, Gaga lost a lot of fans because they didn't like the album/era. Some people found the music unbearable, others didn't like it because of Gaga's behavior/outfits/makeup, etc...

 

At the end of the day, we don't know what kind of impact have the charts on this fanbase and the way we appreciate an album.

At this point I really think she deserves to be the happiest person in this world, so I'd give her a 10 for happiness and say goodbye to new music... We'll always have those 4 flawless albums she has put out
