And Gaga's team has done good promo she was just having personal problems with Troy this year. I'd rather Gaga not do promo than be depressed again thanks. . You do have a point... I think the biggest matter is that her manager doesn't have any experience, while experience is fundamental to manage such a big star's career. Artist Nation is a huge management organization, with far more influence, connections and experience. (which is what you said was lacking) I'm not sure how having a big, organized management team behind you "doesn't change things". Switching management is complex. There are legal contracts to work out, especially with an artist worth as much as Gaga is. Plus, I'm sure she was looking into several management companies and negotiating, and that takes time as well. This isn't like selecting what movie or outfit you are going to wear tonight. Gaga lives in the grown-up world. This was a complicated, time-consuming procedure and should have been when dealing with an artist worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Those are the people they represent (hence the word CLIENTS) and 16 companies are under their umbrella. This is Gaga's new management team, and it is one of the biggest. Interscope is her label and Artist Nation is her management company, which would be the ones responsible for the type of promo that was referenced in the OP.
