Interludicrous

I came here to vote for ARTPOP, only to find out it was merged with crappy productions like Cake and Swine tumblr_inline_muif1hDAXT1qf3eh3.gif

I also love Swine though, but the production could've been a lot nicer IMO :ohwell:

Anyone who picks swine.... :awkney: the production on that poor song is GOD AWFUL. So dated. Vocals are HORRID. From a non-fan standpoint can't even tell what the lyrics are in verses. Anyways. BLOODY MARY. THE MOST GODLY SONG AND INSTRUMENTAL EVER CREATED. I get chills listening to the instrumental :tea:

Do What U Want and Sex Dreams are definitely his best instrumentals. Even though Government Hooker and Bloody Mary are among my favorite Gaga tracks, I have to say theres always something almost like...subtly cheap..about his productions or like off. Idk... if you listen to other peoples records they have really sharp and expensive sounding electronic music and nearly whenever DJWS makes something it sounds kind of like not as sharp or clean. Do What U Want does though, when I first heard it I was like woah. Dope. When I think about it though I feel like theres usually something inexpensive sounding about Gaga's music excluding The Fame Monster. I feel like one of the reasons TFM is her best album is because of how expensive, chic, and young it sounded (Dance In the Dark, Bad Romance, So Happy I Could Die, Teeth) even Speechless.

DJWS is definitely better than Rob Fusari though, his production sounded cheap as **** as much as I do love The Fame.

I couldn't agree more. The vocals and production on a lot of her music just sounds really distorted and muddled. She has to have access to like the best recording equipment known to man. I don't understand why some of her music sounds so GarageBand, when clearly, as she proved on TFM, it can sound exceptionally better. The vocals and synths on that album sound flawless and superrrrrrrr high tech. DWUW sounds VERY expensive and chic and fresh. So professional. Even the vocals. All her music should have that feel

I voted other- Swine. Because swine is the most perfect piece of Gaga work on ARTPOP from a vocal standpoint and production standpoint. Its the EPITOME of what I thought ARTPOP as a whole would sound like.
