Hermes 0
Not really. A jazz album can't bring a popstar back lmao
Neptune 156
im not living in the 2008 lol i just said her decline still didn't stop, and she needs to do something to stop it oh and btw. ARTPOP is my fave and TF least fave album soo That's how it works, they build you up to tear you down. And then they want you to be back on your feet and watch you climb again. That's the Hollywood life. Beyoncé was basically dead during 4, everybody was hating on it, she had so much bad press. And yet she came back, people thought it was time to appreciate her again, and she sold well this time. That's the cycle. We know it, Gaga knows it, everybody knows it. She'll be back in full force, maybe in the future. That doesn't mean she's declining or going down. She's just not as socially and musically present as she was during her peak, because the public isn't ready for it. Chill and wait.
Raikov 183
This may sound stupid but what's a "PR" company? Public relations.
HausOfNicole 177
Hahaha hun, tell that to Forbes' "100 Most Influential Women" list I just socially speaking she's still very much relevant.
Darcklighter22 2,358
for the most part the GP are over the "shock art" that she does it isn't "new" sure you have her fans. She's opened up which leaves what some of the GP when she first came out with nothing left to really wonder on. She is still a good business woman. The in thing now is for people to drag her claiming she's not as good as she use to be (being able to sell as much etc..) specially with in her own fanbase it's always been present but never been as much a fad to do so as of recent I find. I'm really looking forward to the album actually as it will showcase another side of her that will be flattering with the GP
HausOfNicole 177
I hope the songs are catchy, I never really listened to Jazz besides the previous gaga songs...has any jazz song been popish? So excited to hear C2C Jazz is really just in reference to the instruments used to create the music. The lyrics however can be very pop. Songs like Problem and Talk Dirty have jazz influences. Raikov 183
21 showed that jazz-influenced works (rolling in the deep, rumour has it) can appeal to people. I wouldn't write c2c off, although I don't expect it to smash. I'm here for epic jazzga.
GagaMyBlood95 9,915
MONSTER..... not that word
freebit 6,240
she needs fans that will support her regardless of her chart position she needs posts like this like she needs a bullet in her head MTE. We don't have to be mindless stans, but why be so obsessed with how she's going to chart? Or compare her with others? It's so stupid. And before someone tries to reply with the typical "but she'll lose $$$$$ for future music/videos/performances and start performing in hole-in-wall gay clubs!": there are plenty of unknowns & (genuine) indie acts that make beautiful videos, and one needs to only look at Gaga's The Fame days to see how creative and amazing you can be without an endless budget. Anyway, this person could have been more diplomatic by leaving it at "the new album's tracks sound amazing." They work in PR so they've probably been paying attention to the horrible PR mess that was the ARTPOP campaign though. Regardless, I have no expectations about this album commercially. I'm sure this is going to be treated like a normal jazz album with a small album campaign and few live performances here & there. I admit this praise has got me a tiny more excited about checking it out though. I'm not usually big on jazz, but that might change if the album is good. MJHolland 12,725
Why do people keep saying that? Have you ever thought that maybe people didn't like ARTPOP as much as her previous records? How does that make you a "fake" fan? There will always be people who will lose interest in her and there will always be people who will gain interest in her. There's no such thing as real or fake fans. Anyway, I'm really excited for Cheek To Cheek! yes, there are such things as real and fake fans. A fake fan is a "fan" that will leave the artist they love because they aren't at the top of their game. F*** that. If you ditch someone because they aren't the brightest star in the sky, you were never a true fan to begin with. Gaga would agree. She doesn't want "fans" that will ditch her when she's going through a rough era. She's better off never having those "fans" to begin with.
cosmicPOPdream 4
Not you mentioning Lana as if she isn't dead since Video Games. Bye sis So it's a top 10 hit. It was all over the radio. You guys are so overdramatic, I can't even. Right, her album is sitting comfortably at #6 right now on iTunes you dumb sis
MJHolland 12,725
I just socially speaking she's still very much relevant. ARTPOP was in the top 10 best selling albums of 2013 how... irrelevant if only I could have a fraction of her irrelevancy
Nemo 4,291
"This could bring back Gaga.. the Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga album 'Cheek To Cheek' is going to be huge! Heard The samples from it. Monster..."Now I'm picturing them doing a jazz version of "Monster".
Mast 980
She's not gone so she doesn't need to be brought back Lol yeah she is. By bringing her back he means bringing back positive reviews, chart positions, and image. Gaga is still in the popstar scene but only through her infamy.
