Dangerous Man 9,245
She's not gone so she doesn't need to be brought back Are you serious with all these underperformances and flopage? She might still be in our hearts but not with the GP. "A little less conversation and a little more touch my body."
MJHolland 12,725
#1 she can be influential because of her fan base doesnt mean her music to the gp is relevant #2 Forbes looks at the past year. She was more relevant when ARTPOP first came out but that popularity quickly dwindled #3 Forbes may be a respected magazine but its still just a magazine. They arent God, their opinions can be disagreed with cher, don't even with me today
Whispering 18,865
Are you serious with all these underperformances and flopage? She might still be in our hearts but not with the GP. 2.5 million people disagree with you. Also the 800,000+ people who bought tickets to see her live disagree with you. That's not all stans! ryhanna 3,507
How big do some people think a jazz album will be? Chances are, it's not going to be "huge" or make Gaga super popular again, but it will open her up to a new audience and gain her more respect within the musical community. Juanjo 2,139
She's never left, but we all know what the person who tweeted that meant. This album might put her back on the spotlight, or start the process to ultimately do that. Regardless, I'm very excited. :)
giskardsb 12,565
It sounds mean but the majority of people who buy music and control the charts are the younger generation and I can't see them giving a **** about this album, Tony and conventional Jazz is only widely relevant to an older audience Young people don't buy music they steal it. In the other hand older people and jazz fans tend to still buy.
Mast 980
Watching you guys acting like C2C is gonna be the biggest flop in history C2C will sell/chart about the same ARTPOP did if not better. Mark. My. Words.
ItsTommyBitch 12,640
People of all tech-savvy ness steal music Its not 40 year olds that are platforming people like Ed Sheeran and 1D and 5 Seconds to #1 over night whenever they release any song from anything, its definitely teenagers --- even though physical album sales are not what they used to be, there is still a sense of duty and fulfillment when someone buys music to support an artist. Anyway, i can see how some people are like "sales matter because quality of productions matter", but Gaga is one of Interscope's biggest sellers and best investments. From Gaga's descriptions of them, they seem to support her artistic vision/journey and i don't see them cutting down her budget in the near future at all. + Gaga is loaded and can self fund what she wants if shes passionate about it, and I expect she would if she had to. We don't need to be concerned unless shes suddenly selling >/= 100k with a main "Lady Gaga" LP and unable to get any top 100 singles, as C2C is only a side project. Also if she suddenly cant sell out venues, which i dont see coming. People know that Gaga is a great performer, and even people who havent bought any of her albums and maybe only downloaded a few of her singles on itunes still come to see her live, because shes Lady ****ing Gaga 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

craig 680
Even if her tours were not affected, her label may refuse to spend much resources on making high budget tv performances and music videos if her singles and album sales were to all start to do poorly hypathetically speaking That would be foolish when she has a 360 deal and the label makes most of their dough on tours. Tours sell = she's golden. She just needs more pop success to sustain a long career. If she doesn't appeal to teens and pre-teens as much as 2009-11, she needs to bring in more older fans. craig 680
C2C will sell/chart about the same ARTPOP did if not better. Mark. My. Words. I agree. Monsters will support it, while older jazz fans tend to buy albums rather than stream or download. Though album selling more doesn't mean in would generate more seat sales on tour. With Gaga maybe there'll be a bit more promo so perhaps 190,000. We're looking at 1mill lifetime sales... nowhere near to what ARTPOP has sold
