It is sad that the era wasn't followed through to its potential, but I choose to look at the positives: - the album is (to my honest, educated ears) the best she has done so far. It most succinctly fits her colorful, unique, hypnotic persona, and results in songs that are catchy, personal, and unlike anything else out there. Truly singular creations. - the artRave was and is a stunning production, and I can't wait to see how she develops and expands it -the "Applause" and "GUY" videos are amongst her very, very best (and "DWUW"has the potential to be as well). - the era has featured some of her most exciting, transcendent moments to date. GagaDragon 10 Posted June 23, 2014 Share Posted June 23, 2014 I'm sorry but not every single song on ARTPOP was good, this album was a gigantic decline music wise from her previous 3 albums and yes that includes TF because the singles from that era wipe the floor with everything on ARTPOP. That has been my biggest disappointed with Gaga and ARTPOP, couldn't careless about the charts, album sales or Katy Perry. Ronk 14,762 Posted June 23, 2014 Share Posted June 23, 2014 Like seriously, this album is amazing from start to finish and I am so mad at Gaga's team for not making this happen in the right way, and I am mad at us, the fans, for making this era all about failure and charts and Katy Perry and idk what else - everything BUT the music unfortunatelly... This, exactly ... every word. But I do think C2C is a side project and not the end of the ARTPOP era. I live outside the space time continuum.
