I am so sad about ARTPOP

Well, today I've listened to most of the ARTPOP songs and I watched Applause and G.U.Y. videos, also some performances - I just had some weird need to look back at the whole ARTPOP era..

And I have to say that I am feeling so sad that this era is finished (it's obviously done since Gaga is already talking about C2C + promoting it with Tony) because it will forever be remembered as Gaga's "floppy" and "messy" era. I won't say that it was or wasn't but I will say that every single ARTPOP song is just way to good to be remembered that way!

Like seriously, this album is amazing from start to finish and I am so mad at Gaga's team for not making this happen in the right way, and I am mad at us, the fans, for making this era all about failure and charts and Katy Perry and idk what else - everything BUT the music unfortunatelly...

But we should move on to happier things than will happen soon like C2C which I am very excited!

That's all, sorry if I bored you or anything,I just needed to say this.

well the music didn't live up to Born This Way for me, but it gave me my second fave from Gaga (Aura :flutter: ). I'm kind of glad it's over because I still have trouble making themes out of this era, but I guess that's the point, it could mean anything :derpga:   There was so little for a lot of this era and there was so much at some points. I'm still sad about Gypsy not being a single, that's probably the most disappointing thing from this era besides the obvious no DWUW video.

It's ok if it will be remembered as the messy era. Let's hope it won't be her last era.

It might be remembered a lot better in a few years. Who knows. Some things take time to leave a mark.

I am very grateful for the ARTPOP era. It gave us her best music, her best performances, one of her best music videos and her best tour yet (imo). I've loved every minute of it.

remember when we thought born this way was extremely messy and then ARTPOP happened

I personally think the album also had songs that are "messy" and needed to be cut.

She should've just made it an 8 track EP.

Every single artist has messy eras, just like human life basically lol. There's bound to be ups and downs. And you can only go up from the downers

I loved how organic Born This Way felt with actual instruments. ARTPOP felt very empty with electronic beats. Lets hope for the rockish route again, perhaps a ballad album.

I don't know what they were thinking not making Gypsy a single.

Ugh me too. The album is literally perfect! It doesn't deserve to be ranked as her worst era! It has so much potential and the message... Oh good God the flawless message! All going to waste now! :nooo:

Me too! It is such an amazing album full of bops. It is a party and cheerful album. We have so much fun singing to ARTPOP with my friend. The imagery was amazing. It was very different from TFM and BTW (two of my ultimate favorites), and I love it so much!

Anyway, RIP ARTPOP era

 This makes me even sadder. THIS is the song that could bring the GP back
