The only ones happy about this will be the fans a few regular people who will think it's cool. People aren't that much involved in the careers of pop stars to have a solid opinion on the state of their careers. They're not obsessively checking the chart positions of various singles and albums. I mean, adults will check it out on newspaper and TV news on the next day, but it won't cause the same impact. However a lot of people do think all she does is for attention and many will see this as attention seeking. It doesn't matter if they don't check chart positions, etc. And checking them doesn't make someone a "nerd." The media calls her a flop, and people read headlines and accept them.
