Hmmm I don't think it's necessarily iconic, but it's not derivative or forgetable at all.

Hear me out, I think that performance is one of Gaga's greatest cards under her sleeve, because while not being an 'iconic' performance, it was neat, professional, entertaining, and perfectly executed. Altogether a true spectacle. When people remember the 2013 VMA, they will probably remember Miley's performance, and how tacky it was, and how Gaga's in contrast was flawless.

I'm sure it will help Gaga achieve that 'unquestionable legend' status we all want her to become in the future. :legend:

So no, not necessarily iconic, but hardly irrelevant.

Oh, I'm just visiting-

I think so I mean, this was the first preformance we'd gotten since the BTWB and idk it was special and fun.

Disregard

Stans have no real grasp of the concept of what is and isn't iconic. Literally everything that Gaga does, right down to simply appearing in a pap photo walking out of her apartment is called iconic by at least one person on here on a daily basis. The fact is that no, most things our faves do are not considered iconic to anyone but hardcore stans that watch every move they make.
