Did you watch the video in the OP? The TMZ guy clearly said the snippet would air on the show. The OP of this thread was very misleading :toofunny:

To be quite fair I am too ill at the moment to pay enough attention to anything to catch out misleading **** (and I was mainly going by Twitter/reliable other Monsters for info because of that).

Both of you, right now, tell me if you would rather be a man being raped by a woman or a woman being raped by a man. Those are the only two options. Absolutely no alternative answers. Go.

^?

I have never been raped. So I won't pretend to know what it feels like. It is disrespectful towards Rape victims to assume i know what they feel. Just as it is disrespectful to suggest that all men rapes are the same and all female rapes are the same. Every experience is different.

What kind of question is that? You're trivializing a very serious issue. You're deshumanizing people's suffering by putting them all in the same box and assuming Men rape feels a certain way and female rape feels a certain way too.

Oh my word... Okay firstly, your article is not the freakin bible. I don't give a fug what it says in your stupid article. You will not sit behind your keyboard and say that it is equally traumatizing for a man to overpower a woman and shove his member up another person's genitals. And yes "date rape" is a less heinous crime than conscious rape. I MUUUUCH rather have my body taken advantage of while i'm unconscious than conscious. THAT is obvious. And who says rape is the worst crime there is? I MUUUUCH rather be s-xually violated than murdered.

Okay it's not the bible but ya know? At least I went and got recipts for my claims. At least they are supported by people of intelligence. I said its one of the worst crimes in the publics opinion not THE worst crime.

And I'm not sure tbh, either way ill have emotional scars for years to come.

Also I just wanna point out that even tho you said I'm the one outside of reality and I need to grow and I need get into the real world, no one agrees with you. Are they outside of reality?

I don't even know how to answer.

Rape is rape. The physical violence that is used is a another topic. Maybe the victim's s-x could make a difference but the offender is the same piece of **** no matter his/her s-x, they rapped someone. Those kind of things should not be compared.

It's not trivializing as your comparing two situations that are vastly different and saying they're the same. Nice copout though

copout. answer the question. it is VERY obvious.

no one is talking about the offender. We are talking about the experience of the victims, which is this case is MUCH worse for women. It's again, VERY obvious.

BACK ON TOPIC THOUGH: Gaga isn't singing about rape at all..........

But the ting about the question is its not specific about the scenarios, you don't only raped or s-xually abused one way. You don't tell me how each person was raped or the after effects.

Be more specific and I'll answer.

no. For equality to be reached there much be acceptance that there is inequality. There must be acceptance that one group has privilege over another group, and it is feminism that says "f*** that." It doesn't require that you "feel" anything per say. All it requires is for people to say "Oh, your struggle is one that is real and arduous and I would like to do my part in erasing my privilege." No one needs to feel bad for anyone, because at the end of the day sitting around feeling sorry for one another isn't going to do sh**.

Stop being willfully ignorant. WHAT happens when a female is raped by a man. WHAT happens when a man is raped by a woman. The two are not the same, so matter where the stem from. Yes, they are both rape and that's a terrible thing, but one is different from the other.

One is infinitely more gruesome, traumatic, and painful. I think you both know which one I'm talking about. So yes, I can confidently say that a woman being raped by a man is significantly worse and more horrific than a man being raped by a woman. That is not to take away any dignity to any male that is s-xually abused, but it's just a fact of life. Life is unfair sometimes like that. Sometimes it sucks.

And for the love of everything that is holy. Lady Gaga is NOT singing about raping the opposite s-x  :grr: (or rape in general) and Robin Thick IS.  :grr:  :grr:  :grr:

Oh god please shut up. How dare you dismiss the pain of male rape victims as "not as bad". I pray that this never happens to you and you're never faced with such a disgusting, bigoted, ignorant response.

Your posts are becoming just you dismissing valid opinions by different people. Your posts have become essentially empty.

I'm not "comparing" different situations. I'm saying rape is rape, and it should be treated as such, no matter the gender of the victim, which sounds more "equal" to me than claiming they're different just because of gender. You claim you support equality, yet your whole argument is an attempt to discriminate based on gender.

Every rape is different, and no matter if the victim is male or female, it should be treated with respect.

I'm not trying to belittle anybody's suffering or pain. But I was asked why it's more offensive if Robin Think sings about rape than it is if Lady Gaga does and my response is because he is a man. I just defended my answer.

I don't think so. but I'm sure more and more people already have it so we might be expecting it to leak in full anytime soon.
