no it's not. Men rape women waaayyyyy more frequently than (if) women (could) rape men.

Again, why would Gaga be asking to get raped?

I'm not saying Gaga is asking for it I'm not trashing her at all.

I'm saying that you saying that's more offensive to hear a song about rape from am man then a women because do there gender. Especially when many men get raped. No not as many as women but when 1 in 21 get raped, that's a problem also.

What was in that post? And what are you saying about it?

okay so let me get this str8, you think that it's worse to here a man sing about he wants to rape someone then it is a women even tho 1 in 21 men in the US admit to being raped by a women. Even tho when a man gets raped the public doesn't care as much.

Didn't you read what I posted?

"Many of the myths about male s-xual victims are centered on cultural and s-xual stereotypes that a proportion of society holds against victims."

And your following these stereotypes that may be offensive to assault victims. No, I'll stay in the real world and you stay in your s-xist fantasy.

But really so much of this experience proves how bad the media is today. They'll post anything to get attention, frame questions to lead the interviewees, take things completely out of context, etc. It's all a joke, and I for one am totally tired of it. Kudos to Gaga for rising about it all and continuing her campaign to do what she wants.

Yes, it is much more offensive for a man to sing about rape than a woman. That's a no brainer. Get out of your idealist mind set where everything is PC and everything is black and white. Everything is not black and white; nothing 100% moral or 0% moral, nor right and wrong.

It is EXTREMELY s-xist to think that men are equal victims of rape as women are. Everybody is NOT equal. Women have it a lot worse. So yes, it's infinitely more offensive for a man to sing about raping a woman than a woman to sing about being raped.

No, they are not equal victims (even tho men are victims too) but they are equal in potential to rape. Lets say, for instance, Gaga was singing about wanting to rape a man and Robin was singing about the same topic except a women. Neither is more likely to rape someone because both have the potential to do it and both have displayed massive s-xual desires in there music. So it would be s-xist for the media to trash more Robin more then Gaga (if she sang about rape, which I know she didn't) just because he's a man and she's a women.

Okay so just because Robin is a man he's more likely to rape someone then a women even if they both sang a song about wanting to? If they both showed interest in raping someone then yes they have equal potential.

And I notice how rude you are, why? I haven't wronged you, why do you have such a nasty attitude?

You sound like you've been totally brainwashed by the extremist feminism movement tbh. :toofunny: How is a man raping a woman worse than a woman raping a man? They're both rape. They're both, essentially, the same thing. There's no going around this, there's not 'but', no exceptions. Rape is rape. It should be treated as such, with the same respect and importance, every time.

Oh, I'm just visiting-

Statistically yes, he is LITERALLY more likely to rape a woman than any woman is likely to rape a man JUST because of the fact that he is a man.

Literally YES. This is so frustrating, especially considering how his song has everything to do with him raping women and how Gaga's song has nothing to do with rape at all (and if it did, she would be the person "being raped"...)

A woman being raped is worse than a man getting raped. Logistically. I'm not a crazy feminist. I do believe, however, in the social, political, and economic equality of the s-xes. So yes, I'm a feminist as every non-bigot is.

But in order to bring about equality we first have to consciously realize there is inequality.
