It's Erotica all over again. Now her next album is going to be a really quiet release & overall a flop then she's going to get into Kabbalah and make a really good album that sells almost 20 Million copies.  :worship:

:lmao:  :lmao:  :lmao:  :lmao:

I want to see the full video before I judge it wholly, but for now I don't like it.

There is nothing ARTPOP about this video.

Applause was good and the video was good, but it will always be viewed as a flop.

Do What U Want was basically scrapped, and now that we have the video, this could ruin her further.

G.U.Y had a great video, but obviously the song tanked...

ARTPOP didn't sell as much as we had hoped it would and tbh the album is a mess. Even the tour is a mess of images and wigs etc.

Bring back I Wanna Be With You, and Brooklyn Nights.

If this Jazz album doesn't help her image, nothing will unless she goes on a complete makeover and sticks to the curly hair/dark hair.

sorry its the Tea guys. She can't go on being Gaga anymore

what an era.

You are the biggest f--king drama queen I've ever met in my life omg what sorta "I'm on my period" logic! :sharon:

Jazz album will help almost nothing.

ARTPOP is great and so is artRAVE. You are the mess my friend. Not ARTPOP.

No ones views Applause as a flop video... Like no one. :smh:

G.U.Y. Didn't get promo... Hwo would you buy a single you didn't know exsisted. Of course it would. The song is good though.

"She can't be Gaga anymore" :sharon: drama queen alert! It's not the tea... You are blowing this way out of proportion. Just stop. Lol mess.

How does it glamourise rape? I'm uncomfortable watching Gaga in that position. The newspaper scene, however, is fine. So if her being knocked out is SUPPOSED to make you uncomfortable, then it's not glamourising rape.

Including something =/= glamourising.

The video is shot by Terry Richardson. The message here isnt "rape is whack". It's basically "people say all kinds of **** about us but we dont give a damn". It has a comedy tone to it.

If anything, the scene where Gaga is knocked out and they're dancing on her/with the lobster etc is supposed to make you UNCOMFORTABLE. It's not funny, at all. It's highly disturbing.

In another context, that would be funny. But in this one, it's not. So I don't think that's the message at all.

Anybody know if the documentary shots are still in the video? I hope so.

I felt uncomfortable with the whole situation and context of the loss of consent, but I think that was based on my own assumptions.

{I'm not saying I'm right, but this is just me explaining my assumptions}

From what we've got, she's putting R. Kelly in a position as an authoritative figure (again) in which she has lost control of herself with. All in all, it's probably a metaphor to how she views celebrity/sensationalized media culture to treat people, but it still seems... off. Again, I'd need the whole video to judge completely.

Also, I think the implications tied in with Richardson just made it all that worse. With him and Gaga, I try to keep my opinions on him completely subjective, but in this case it really ties in a bit too close.

That said, I like the idea of the sensationalized headline motifs (on the walls, dress).

3 points in and ready for more
