Kelly, and even Terry, was becoming more mainstream news after she filmed the video. If you remember, the Beats commercial with DWUW was airing for a short time in the US, but then got pulled and replaced quickly with another song. They continued to air it throughout Europe and Canada (I think?) though and DWUW went on to become a top 5 hit in areas where they showed the commercial. Something seems to have happened in the US, that caused the shut down of the commercial...and the video. Thanks for the answer. Now it makes more sense. I really think the label said NO…. …I think Gaga wanted to release the video…. and I agree with you that something happened in the US.
