Why are people saying it's Lorde? It's kind of disturbing thinking about her, an minor, fucking her way to the top...

I think it's either about Taylor Swift or Lorde. I definitely don't think it's about Gaga!

Mister G

It's about Lorde :flop: Lorde openly sneers about Lana all the time and has a similar style. Lorde also thinks she's higher than a lot of other people, ESPECIALLY Lana (the artist vs. the art project). Also, some of the lines allude to Lorde (my linens and curls).

She also says in the song, 'what I do, I do best'. Gaga doesn't 'do' what Lana does. Gaga doesn't sound like Lana at all (musically or vocally) and Gaga has never talked about Lana in any way whatsoever.

This :legend: I've also heard that this song was about either Lorde or Taylor Swift.

Lorde.

A song called "So Legit" from like 6 years ago leaked sometime where lana literally BLASTS Gaga

About that. The song was apparently written a LONG time ago, and in the song she asks how this other artist's song was In a coke commercial. Gaga only had 1 song in a coke commercial and that was 'Electric Chapel'. 'Electric Chapel' is reletivley new compared to "So Legit". So in terms if that, I really doubt that song was a blast at Gaga.

How do the lines "Stefani, you suck, I know you’re selling twenty million"

And "Have we all gone Gaga crazy?"

And "You’re looking like a man, you’re talking like a baby"

NOT allude it to being about Gaga?

So Legit made it clear to me that Lana had nothing but super harsh words to say about Gaga and from the way she paints it in So Legit, it seems like Gaga was the one ridiculed by Lana and her "punk rock" scene, not the other way around.

I also don't think this song is about Lorde. I mean, did Lana even know Lorde before Royals hit big, let alone know Lorde's methods to achieve stardom?

Regardless of who this song is about, I think it's cheap. Lana Del Rey is so self-absorbed over her authenticity like a regular hipster b---h.

I'm over her and her hypocrisy. Ultraviolence sucks anyway :)
