Why I appreciate her artistic diversity and I'm happy to see her enjoying herself, I don't listen to Gaga to listen to jazz. Can you listen to the ****ing album first for crying out loud? You may even *gasp* like it. This fanbase is so embarrassing sometimes. She want's to expand and grow as an artist and you people are trying to hold her down. While this might not be bound to impress the world by its potential sales and chart performance since jazz isn't a massive record-seller worldwide, the critical acclaim this album might get is what I'm looking forward the most. Young people don't want to listen to Gaga singing old jazz songs with an 87 year old man, and radio won't play it. But it will help her a lot with critics and she can score more Grammys so that's good. Will you buy it? Now, whether people say they care about critics or not - people make judgements based off what the media and critics say about products. Gaga needs some love/positivity back on her side from critics because ARTPOP wasn't received warmly. Plus, JazzGa is so amazing. Her voice is MADE for Jazz. It's got that rich, deep - almost masculine tone to it that makes Jazz so easy to listen to, yet to seductive. I'm sure it'll sell exceptionally well given it's genre. I can't wait! I think that eventually, it will be considered one of Gaga's main discography sessions, and not just something a'la muppets special. I have a gut feeling that this will bring HUGE critical acclaim, Grammys, as well as a big influence in gaga's artistic process for the 5th Album...
