What director would you have wanted her to reference for the aura video if it truly was the end of the trilogy? Paparazzi - french/art Haus Telephone - grindhouse (Tarantino) Aura - I would absolutely not want Bollywood. And quite frankly you can't call an era a flop when she is on a worldwide tour promoting a #1 album with a top 5 single. You can't call an era a flop when she has a video at Hearst Castle and a video with Jonas Ã…kerlund following her hugely successful Paparazzi/Telephone trilogy. **** radio, **** chart positions who cares? She isn't going to be losing money on this whole ARTPOP project so it isn't like anybody needs to worry about that. When she keeps creating these high concept, well filmed videos the media and everyone will not be able to dismiss her so easily. Quite frankly all I want is another Lady Gaga video, because I am a fan of her and not the charts. I care because I love her and I want her to have success because I know that she deserves it, as we all do... However, the video could be amazing and also some crazy performance... agreed. I actually find it annoying how many fans think either the Aura controversy wouldn't have mattered or think that it would've been beneficial. She would've buried herself in cement. Besides, the song itself isn't even that great. The chorus is pretty dope, but the "dance s-x art pop" part is pretty wack as is the long intro. The demo vocals were better as well. Why are some fans are so scared of Gaga taking risks that they would rather have her release basic songs as singles to get the GP's approvel. ARTPOP is about the music and not the bling, isn't it? Having Aura as the lead single would make that statement clear as day. On a side note, I really don't think the controversy would be large enough to be able to break Gaga.
