Alex C 254
I am speechless. One of my all-time favorite looks of hers. This new make-up is really agreeable with the wig. She found the perfect combo. Wondering what else Aces she has on her (long and glam) sleeve..... Perform Living
Emvee 8,412
"Let me ask you, do you have a problem with Beyonce's hair as well?" This is clearly a joke... Beyonce is ****ing black I'm not judgemental, what im saying is gaga is racist at times just like when she was parading around in her let's wear a burqa phase which is a sacred religious practice for some people (as is dreadlocks in Rastafarian culture) she changed the song title to Aura because she realised it would have been a bad move. I'm not ignorant maybe you should do some research?I love gaga we all do but she rather silly sometimes. Get that logic out of here dude. Yeah the burqa was unintentionally ignorant, but the dreadlocks and curly hair? White people have curly hair bro. Dreadlocks are a dad just like any other haircut out there. Stop using racism as a way to justify your distaste for the damn wigs. Racism exists, but seeing it hair styles is petty.

But I'm going to continue to enlighten you. Would it also be cultural appropriation if Beyonce were to wear dreads? Clearly she us not Rastafarian. But she is black. Would you blink an eye? My point is to say, it is totally irrational to find a problem with gaga for wearing a curly wig (even if it WAS an afro {which it's not}), because she's not black. Maybe you should look up a definition of cultural appropriation?
lego 44,165
"She ain't black" wtf, one of the most ignorant things I read on this site. If you only knew how many white european women have NATURALLY very curly hair. Omg the ignorance. FreePalestine

Maybe you should look up a definition of cultural appropriation? Bey bey can wear dreads everyday if she wants shes african american, you aren't getting it yet your telling me to look it up? white people have this terrible, awful, no-good habit of trying to take everyone else’s “authenticity†because they feel so like lost and indie and culturally dislocated and their poor little selves are so tired, because they have all this power and it’s so exhausting. This is related, but not limited to, white people wearing headdresses as well.....and having dreads as a white person in the public eye is a political statement....& that political statement is “I don’t give a **** who I make feel unwelcome in this space, because obviously my personal expression is the most important thing that ever happen....sadly even the people we know and love look up to are ignorant at times

Cultural appropriation goes deeper than skin color. Literally just do a quick Google of the definition. I don't think you're understanding that culture is not equivalent to skin color. With the logic that you presented about Gaga in dreads, you should technically have the same objection about Bey. Culture =/= Skin color. This is coming from an African American girl. Don't be offended I'm just trying to get you to realize the fault in this logic.
