Pain of fame1 229 Posted June 15, 2014 Share Posted June 15, 2014 I seriously think that that hip thing was just an excuse to have a break and to finish the album, so that the album release date has always been planned for late 2013 despite gaga said it would be out before spring 2013...remember that gaga tweet in SEPTEMBER 2012 saying: Everybody loves a VMA comeback ;) ? Because wasn't she hiding her hip thing? If there's ever proof for this theory I'm hanging up my Stan card because I was devastated when she cancelled and she had all of us emotionally invested and worried. That would be so unacceptable. Especially because the tour would've ended in March giving her a **** ton of time. Why? Not sure about the yoga either, but she would have had to do exercises for recovery of her hip. Also, she never said she spent 6 months in a wheelchair that I saw. So you're saying (or whoever believes this theory) that she cancelled how many shows for the BTWB just to work on finishing and album? I don't understand the logic behind what you're saying. I mean she still had what 20-30 shows left on the BWTB? So are people saying the hip was faked? Yes, she was hiding the injury because she wanted to keep on with her tour....the one that she still had heaps of dates to go on and she had to cancel. So I don't understand why the OP is talking about promoting a new album in this time (as if she had time with the tour) and that meaning that she would have got her hip checked sooner. I mean there was no way she was gonna be doing full on promo for ARTPOP when she still had so many shows left on the BTWB. There's no 100% proof that she did have the surgery, so if someone has reasonable evidence to support a theory that she didn't or if they personally think she didn't, why would the be banned? She had month of not touring in December and January, that's when she should've released the lead single with a few promo performances, the rest of the tour from there was in America, so no need to travel. A new single would've helps tour sales as well. This is very similar to what she did during the BTW era, she released the lead single during the monster Ball.
