I'm also a fan and I believe it's a generational gap... She came before these younger 20 year olds and teenagers... But as a fan lets also not be deluded as to think Sarah is well known... Sarah has collected over 180 gold and platinum sales awards in 38 different countries. She is also the first artist to have been invited twice to perform at the Olympic Games. Her two Phantom of the Opera CDs sold over 8 million copies in the US alone, and both went 8x platinum in Canada and 3x Platinum in the UK.
