Hardly known, thankfully, only in your opinion. Sarah Brightman is financing the entire thing from her own personal fortune, garnered over the past 35 years of being a musical legend.

But I am equally happy for them both. Personally, since Sarah wanted to go first, and started prepping first and training first, I think it's appropriate she goes first. I would want Gaga to go through all the same safety training that Sarah had to go through -- don't want anything happening to EITHER music legend!

This is not suppose to be competition but to be celebrated.

Either person who will do it first, they did it for music.

It is awesome someone can finally do that.

It was just a dream few years back.

 

I feel this way, too.  Most importantly though, I worry about the safety of anyone who chooses to do this.  I have my misgivings about the space aspect that I don't wish to share.

But as a fan lets also not be deluded as to think Sarah is well known... She has a niche audience... She is absolutely not a global popstar for anyone who isn't interested in her music to know her...

She is internationally beloved, just because she didn't release an album this year doesn't mean she isn't relevant. Broaden your horizons, kiddies!

A bunch of Gaga stans, who spend their days at ATRL obsessed over their Pop tarts may not know who Sarah Brightman  is, but that doesn't mean that people outside of that extremely narrow world aren't aware of who she is.
