You just choose the best gif for her Fame era and the worst gif and video for ARTPOP. She is not 22-23 anymore. She was new and fresh then, she can't have the same energy. I agree about G.U.Y video and the tour poster, but her songs are still good + her voice is better actually But the backlash isn't just about quality, they always have something negative to talk about, like her gaining weight. This If gaga still wants to secure her spot as a cultural tour-de force she needs to stop with this half-assed, throw everything against the wall approach she's been doing for ARTPOP. I mean the music is still good but her image and overall presentation is clearly in a major slump and I cant help but think the GP+ media only really care about that when it comes to her. I mean with BTW - obviously she likd it, but that doesn't mean everyone else will - same with ARTPOP - you can't control the GP and what other people like. Plus there's always other external things that happen beyond our personal control too (such as the betrayals and sh*t). Exactly. But people like to say that Gaga "knows" her career and that she does things on purpose because it's "all a plan". The Fame obviously looked like an album made to impact the radio and gain listeners and fans, and I think she knew that with The Fame Monster that stardom would be come bigger. But, for example, we see at the end of Marry The Night video that she becomes a phoenix, which is supposed to be the "Next move" or maybe that scene is what she became after she was betrayed and got a contract on Interscope, who knows. The thing is.. yeah, you can't control what the world likes at the moment, But sometimes it looks like some artists do things on purpose because they know what's going to happen, Madonna for example and her Erotica album and stuff after that. Of course she was still new "it" girl. Her songs are catchy now too but f*cking radio won't play them so they don't even reach GP. She has haters among DJs on radio and she doesn't pay for radio spins. She was betrayed by personal assistant( ex best friend), own manager etc which led to lack of promo. That's it. Weak promo = less people know about your music. People are force fed with Katy songs on the radio.
