Okay, so she waited for Gaga to appear to do that 'Madonna homage'? :awkney: I guess that sounds more like an excuse and a way of attacking Gaga as stating the confusion of her work to Madonna is easy. And what the hell does that video look like Madonna?! The esthetic and visual imaginery, the heavy make-up, the eccentric outfits are totally Gaga, not Madonna.

I know they've joined each other and so ,but i guess that's because Gaga doesn't care about the past or the bad things others said. Maybe Xtina showe her her regret.

She mentioned the Madonna homage back in 2006 and did it numerous times before Gaga even came on the scene :awkney:

Gaga herself is inspired by Madonna. Nothing wrong with that. Boomkack even said she based Gaga's imagery on Madonna.

Think before you speak.

I still haven't forgiven Christina for making Monday Morning and Birds of Prey bonus tracks.

That wasn't Christina's fault. Her management screwed the album up by forcing the best tracks onto a "bonus edition" and made her record new tracks for the standard edition like "Not Myself Tonight". The album would have come out in '09 if it went Christina's way.

What does that have to do with what i'm saying? :awkney: C'mon, be realistic. What does that video look like Madonna? Why at that concrete time? 'Nomerous times before'? Is Xtina some kind of Madonna impersonator then or what?

On another hand, Boomkack said she based Gaga's imaginery on Madonna? 'She based'? Does she think she created Lady Gaga or something? LOL She was just her choreographer and a creative assistant during a specific period of BTW era. Also, what she can say doesn't really matter. Since she was fired she's only talked ****.

Also! I guess it's you who should think before speaking. I like how some people feel so brave to tell people to think before speaking, to shut up and those things in here. I'm sure you're not that honest in person :megaflop:

With art, I'd rather use the word "inspired" instead of "copied".

Copy = the EXACT same thing and that's obviously not the case.

If you can't see how some scenes are 100% copy/paste from Express yourself, you have some serious problems :) I can't be more obvious!

Also, you clearly see she references Madonna's Frozen in Fighter, and probably some of nothing really matters.

Anyways, I don't think she was copying, bad luck, and some of the songs sucked a little

I don't think she was copying intentionally but I'm certain that because of Gaga's cultural impact at that time, it would've been a partly conscious decision made by her/her team to follow that route. It just so happened it turned out a little too familiar, and was made into an even bigger deal by the likes of Perez.

I guess it's you who has some serious problems :D You have to be particularly stupid not to see that the makeup, those black dominatrix heels, the pink-yellow hair, the fire and bed scene and the white outfit where 'multiple xtinas' appear are a clearly referenced by Bad Romance and Gaga :D

I think she went with similar music as Gaga but not blatant copying,

The NMT music video to me is Human Nature meets Erotica meets Bad Romance.

The Not Myself Tonight video is more Madonna. Which puts us in kind of an embarrassing position. :laughga:

That's what I've been thinking reading this thread, Gaga was/is inspired by Madonna. Quite notably more so at the start of her career, and of course Christina has said she specifically referenced Express Yourself for the 'Not Myself Tonight' video.

Either way they both were influenced by Madonna, so it was likely there were going to be similarities.

I am shocked by this thread and the dissing of other singers when they have anything similar to Gaga because it wasn't but a few years ago that Gaga fans were on the defense nonstop about Gaga and her copying other famous singers like Madonna, Grace Jones, Bowie, and videos like this were all over the internet right and left and articles about it.  Just remember for every time a singer is dissed about copying Gaga by Gaga's fans, Gaga had been accused  more than any popstar of this generation for several years earlier on. As much as she was praised for being unique and different, especially musically, there was also a lot of accusations regarding videos like Alejandro and certain looks.   It finally seems gone in this new era.. Thank God.  Hallelujah.  But uncalled for arrogance on here sometimes towards other singers seems pretty petty in the copying accusations department like a green wig color unless it's something massive like Katy's horse, which was obvious and not something generic in the pop world and deserved to be called out.  That's just my thoughts.  Gaga fans felt a lot of stuff was unfair to her and coincidence or extreme overkill or the look wasn't owned by somebody else.  You can't have it both ways.

just gonna throw it in there that Gaga is aware of her homages...during TFM she did a lot of mimicry on purpose

Now i'm not saying that NMT doesn't look like Bad romance at all, but it's really minor things, and considering Gaga has always been inspired by Madonna, it doesn't count :)
