It's hilarious how the verse sounds like a vocals from a parody like collegehumor

Whenever a demo is released fans pretend that the demo is so much better then original. It's just hipster nonsense most of the time, they just want to have something to listen to that casual fans don't know about. But in this case the demo actually is more interesting then the final cut that made the record. Mary Jane Holland as it is on ARTPOP is straight up "filler", it doesn't add to the record at all. This demo shows it had a lot of potential though.

God knows why she ditched the killer intro and outro. Gotta honor that vomit Gags.

I love Mary Jane Holland. For me, ARTPOP's A-story is about an addiction-prone personality hitting bottom twice before finding how to make it work, and it tracks through the whole album. MJH makes me feel the swagger of having all your priorities in the wrong place.

EDIT: On topic, I agree with your take on Demo Fever, just not in this case  :)

The intro (and I guess, the adlibs too) are the only parts, that I would've liked to be somehow implemented in the final version.

I love to hear, how MJH was in the beginning. Pure perfection.

the intro is epic that's it.

the studio version is much better. I love the studio vocals. and the pre-chorus on studio version is so catchy im glad that she added it or else the song is too short and too simple
