I remember not being a fan at the time it came out but a few months later, that was it. I was in love. It's the album that made me a Gaga fan. Even more, I believe it made me the way I am today. It has had a huge impact on me. Gaga and this album have changed my life, and for that, I'll never be able to thank her enough

Her best album, tbh.

I found quite funny how everybody is praising it now after the ARTPOP mess when most of the fans were complaining of every single decision during the BTW era...

That album cover remains one of my favourite album covers of all time. The album itself is still amazing.

It's still the album of the decade to me.

When it came out I had just moved to a new city (for love - can't believe it's still going strong) where I didn't know anyone.  I had a job lined up and after a couple of months they laid our whole office off.  BTW literally saved me - I had no job and no friends, my family wasn't around...I was so depressed.  I used to listen to it all the time to feel better and like a bad b---h walking down those strange streets.

BTW means more to me than any other album...

My favorite record and definitely her best album! :legend:

Happy Birthday, Born This Way!

Surprisingly, it has become even better over time. The Judas breakdown, Heavy Metal Lover's chorus, Highway Unicorn's outro, Marry The Night's bridge.

The era was so fun, and very controversial in all the right ways. This album is for me the one that truly represents Gaga, and I don't regret it for even a second that she released it. The backlash seemed unbearable, but it still remained triumphant!  :applause:

I mean, who the **** else but Gaga would release and album full of social, political, and religious statements so bravely?

I'm so old, I can't believe it has already been 3 years since the original release....

The album of my senior year and easily on of the most prevalent forces in helping me love myself and be free with who I am.

"I doesn't matter of you love him" one minute later "believe capital H-I-M" still bothers me though.

It doesn't matter if you love him or capital H-I-M

It is not a contradiction if that's what you're implying. "Capital H-I-M" simply means any higher power you might believe in, or even in the fact that there is none.

And then:

A different lover is not a sin

Believe capital H-I-M

She is saying, once again, that it doesn't matter in what you believe in, and that you should continue doing so if you want to.

Pointing it out just in case it might stop bothering you. :)

The same will happen with ARTPOP in 3 years, mark my words :manicure:

Remember how everyone praised MTN and GUY before their underperformance? But later, they became laughed at

BTW was very different from her previous works, the same for ARTPOP. It takes time to love the album

My favorite Gaga album and one of my favorites records ever. I remember hearing for the first time and just die with the amazingness, i don't think anyone realizes how this album changed everything...it was with Born This Way that everything that Gaga said, the way she looked and how she act matched the music.

Wow, can't believe it's been three years already!

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?
