Jonathanholland 5,321
TEOG >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DWUW The Edge Of Glory is her best song to date imo. So yeah.. Before there was love, there was silence
LibraLove 1,279
I like it because it has a meaning, like everything Gaga does, but it's very simple. After getting BTW and Judas videos, that one was definitely a dissapointment. She doesn't even change her outfit... Why would you ever change out of a vintage Gianni Versace outfit?! LOL! It's gorgeous! I wouldn't either if I was her. But, I do agree it was very simple. I just think the simplicity made it all the more special/beautiful/amazing. Klou 2,414
I think TEOG is the superior single, but the answer to #2 is obviously TEOG. It did way better in the US and globally. DWUW has sold around 2 million WW and TEOG is 5-6 million WW. TEOG beat DWUW on radio, too.
GagaSkeletonWay 2,080
The Edge Of Glory is more meaningful for me, I really love it. And obviously the one with more success was The Edge Of Glory, it shouldn't even be arguable
VforVendetta 2,024
TEOG obviously. :MANiCURE:

Emvee 8,367
TEOG performed better, but I wonder how DWUW would've done if it had been released in 2011 on the coattails of one of the biggest pop eras in history and one of the most publicized album releases of the 21st century. Anyway, TEOG requires me to be in the mood for its genius. It's not immediately my favorite, but when it hits me hard. DWUW beats TEOG by a margin, for me. Vanilla 664
The Edge of Glory is arguably her best song. DWUW is a nice song too though I won't die, but I can't live without you
SpadesToStart 3,445
1) I prefer DWUW. TEOG just never clicked with me. 2) DWUW only did okay, while TEOG got to #3 and was played constantly all of summer 2011.
