Madonna was very influent on pop culture. Gaga is completely inspired by pop culture, so it's normal that we can see similiarities in some things, as it's a movement where Madonna was pretty important. However, when it comes to Katy, she does copy CONCRETE things: the puking thing, starting to wear wigs nearly always... Gaga is following a whole movement that has been influenced by lots of artists during so many years , while Katy is just copying a concrete trend created by someone, in this case, Lady Gaga.
