So 'Applause' is out for time factor, G.U.Y. for performance factor, DWUW has a a very slight possibility and that would make the album as whole also very unlikely to get any noms. :cry: I am not sure but AI think that interscope can send Applause again for nominations because ot didn't get any last year. LilVenusian 579 Posted May 23, 2014 Share Posted May 23, 2014 Possibly. The competition in the pop genre is not so stiff this year. She will likely get a nom for best pop album and that's about it. Beyonce's clearly going to sweep this year, and Katy as per usual will continue her legacy as the no-grammy wonder of pop. I do however think there is great potential for her to actually win Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Do What U Want. It was hugely acclaimed by the critics, its got that smooth edgy rnb sound+vocals that the grammy panel likes to cream there jeans over and it was clearly a very notable collab in pop this past year.
