You should print out every single quote about how GaGa is religious, loves Jesus and is a God fearing woman. Make copies and than give a stack to the crazy girl and just say learn your facts before you run your mouth.

Forgive them, for they know not what they do.

People don't know the goodness of Gaga because she does not tout her good deeds because she does not use them to promote herself.  She makes music for a living, but as a person she is kind and spreads love and kindness and helps people around the world.  She has strong traditional family values.  She has all the qualities the people in your school would admire, but they never hear about those qualities from the media or from Gaga herself.

Heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali was also a good person but was known by most people by his career image;  how he promoted the boxing matches with great bluster and loud, over-the-top claims.  But even when stricken with Parkinson's he remained a good and kind person and became beloved for who he is as a person.  Here is a quote by Ali:  “I try not to speak about all the charities and people I help, because I believe we can only be truly generous when we expect nothing in return.† There is a direct parallel here with Gaga, and it is a reason Gaga is misunderstood.

As you consider how to proceed with your school situation, remember Gaga's philosophy;  respond to hatred and meanness with kindness, respond to negativity with positivity, always be the good person.

I'm sorry about your experience, but I'm glad that you knew to come to GagaDaily where you could get support for the things you hold dear and true.

Good job on venting and I hope it rolls off your back for tomorrow.  I know it's hard, but try not to take people seriously, but it gets funny when you can joke about how vehemently these people needed to attack you to feel better about themselves.

I'm only 25, but I feel that's some good advice to offer.  In high school I was very timid and shy because I was picked on a lot.  I didn't realize until college that I actually had opinions that were valid and intelligent.

Learning to express myself while being immune to harsh criticism while caring about the constructive collaboration of real feedback was what allowed me to let things like this become easily manageable.

From one monster to another, have a great day.  :)

Then as that happened the wicked b---h of the west in my class who goes by Toni has always been the type to start a fight and she hates everything about Gaga and as this topic came up she saw an oppurtunity and jumped on that ****ing train. She started ranting on in front of the class about how "a certain artist" (she didn't say a name to be a shady b---h) makes "albums" "which constantly insult Jesus and Christianity" and she kept looking at me along with the whole class! She went further on to say "This artist is a satainist." And looked at me again along with the teacher this time. Then this b---h went on to say "so as Christians would it be right to support this artist." The teacher has picked up who they were talking about and to add oil to the flame she said "we shouldn't. If an artist is insulting a friend of yours you shouldn't listen to this artist. And if this artist insults Jesus, who should be closest to you, then you shouldn't listen to them at all. That is pure EVIL!" And just as I was about to speak the class screams at me to let it go and accept it. I was humiliated and so was my Gaga stan friend. The next 30 minutes consisted of throwing shade at Gaga and I. When ever I tried to raise my hand my teacher wouldn't tell me "not now". And this is the same teacher who went on about getting your facts straight first and most of the b---hes probably haven't seen the Judas video. So I sat in anger.

Well, this girl Toni clearly does not understand what the word SYMBOLISM or METAPHOR means.. you should have bounced back with some of that...

Because, never once has Gaga insulted Jesus in any of her songs.

And anyone who takes the song "Judas" at its most superficial level, will obviously only have a dim-witted, idiotic level of understanding... The song Judas is clearly metaphoric, and Judas is Gaga's metaphoric symbol for being in love with someone who isn't good for her; someone who has betrayed her.

Ironic that the whole class was about the use of Symbolism, but when this came up, you didn't take the time to break down the symbol for what it was.

Schools like this exist?

Im so used to having grown up in my diverse little Los Angeles bubble that the idea of hardcore religious based narrow-mindedness being all around me is odd.
