I can't believe some members are soooo pressed. idgi I totally agree with you, Katy doesn't deserve to be dragged any more than Gaga back in 2011. And everyone that disagrees with this is a hypocrite. You can state an opinion and think that Katy has indeed copied Gaga (in the same way that people thought Gaga had copied Madonna back then), but you can do it without dragging. blacklistedd 599 Posted May 20, 2014 Share Posted May 20, 2014 if gaga did the same she'd be slandered and called out from every angle. thats why so many gaga fans are making it a thing. its on one hand understandable, but on the other it just creates more opportunities for people to call gaga out on whatever they believe shes plagiarized and the cycle continues to see no end. as a fan of gaga there is no winning when it comes to arguments like this because as a whole we and she are forever labeled a certain way regardless of whatever double standards/hypocrisy arise. I think if she was ever able to separate herself from the fanbase as it is and be more independent as opposed to 100% and completely fan oriented then she could really be free. but shes way too deep in for that to ever happen.
