How does he sound ungrateful and why would he be grateful in the first place? She came in high on shrooms and threw up in his store, its not a positive or a negative statement. There is no real singer-performer that isn't taking d--gs or alcohol or both. This is not because it really helps them somewhere or it is a good thing but because they can't handle their life and their fame and they usually have unstable personalities. Their life is very different than ours and their fortune and fame comes with a price. Don't judge them that easily, they are not happy people in a traditional way. Like many d--g users, especially unstable personalities like Gaga have a love-hate relationship with Drugs. Amy Winehouse was refering to that to a lot of her songs. You don't need to relate to the d--g use to relate with MJH cause you feel Gaga's obsession and struggle with it. The same with Dope, you don't need to be a d--gs user to feel Gaga's pain in the words "I feel so low from living high'. Imo this is the magic of these songs. You experience from first hand Gaga's emotions with d--gs, the constant ups and downs. Isn't this what d--gs are doing in the first place? In the beginning they make you feel amazing and that nothing really matters but when their influence ends you feel low and alone because you've been d--gged for too long and life feels empty.
