It was a drop - conceptually - visually - fashion wise (this especially!) - dancing wise etc That is your OPINION! Not a fact so don't say it like it is. Concept = opinion. Visuals = opinion. Fashion = definately opinion. Dancing = opinion. My point is you can't just believe something and think it's a fact. Stuff like that is opinions. Gaga has no experience as producer, so since BTW, when she started to co-produce and produce, her music dropped in quality. Not saying that it's gone bad. DWUW, Venus (entirely produced by her in fact), Bloody Mary, Scheisse or Applause are great songs, but you can tell the lack of experience and knowledge towards the production comparing them to Bad Romance, Monster or Alejandro. That is your opinion not a fact . Please don't act like what you believe is law. I believe Marry The Night by itself is better than the others you mentioned. But that is my opinion not a given fact. What you are saying is totally what my point is. Not saying the last two are a big drop, just that: 1) The production has got more experimental and abrasive. 2) The lyrics haven't improved, may have done down slightly. There is subjectivity on both sides - wanting to love the early album that made you a fan, vs. wanting to love Gaga's current work out of loyalty to her. TF had clever, witty, interesting lyrics. TFM had deeper, more consistent lyrics. BTW had some of her best lyrics (and some of her worst). AP just had truly horrendous lyrics, you can't deny it! even though all the songs are really catchy, you can't deny that Venus, GUY, J&D, MANiCURE, Swine, Donatella, Fashion!, and Applause have really, really bad lyrics. and the rest of the songs aren't as bad, but certainly aren't up-to-par with TFM or the best of BTW. you know what i mean? the quality HAS declined. idk what she did with the lyrics. i don't think gaga has ever been a brilliant lyricist, but you used to be able to see SOME effort in them at least :/ Venus, alone, though.... when you list the planets in your song and include: "Aphrodite lady, seashell bikini, garden panty"...what?! lol What?
