VforVendetta 2,024
This album won't benefit Gaga when it comes to sales, its not the point anyway.
scrappy 302
No, I don't believe it's going to be a massive success but she will gain some new fans (and awards hopefully) and it certainly won't hurt her.
Creyk 17,805
Music not the bling. Dope peaked at #8 on the Billboard apart from Applause. Oh right! I totally forgot about that
GypsyPrince 237
Oh right! I totally forgot about that I bet nobody expected Dope to outchart DWUW and G.U.Y.

AnglerfishbraBENUS 5,734
It will be amazing! people will love her! Then when she puts out crap edm for her next record, people will use this album against her because it showcases 'talent' and 'real music.' (arguments of potential jazz listeners who don't follow or like pop music. bookmark me ;)

Wet Fire 7,447
Only if Monsters buy/support it. Tony fans will all buy this. Not sure about all the monsters though. But it will recieve critical acclaim. It might win multiple Grammies.
Golgi 0
You do realize how much the General Public wanted Gaga to make a Jazz album so badly, don't you? Have you read a lot of comments lately (The Lady Is A Tramp, Reddit, SNL, Her Acoustics performances...) almost all of her laid-back performances on YouTube had a lot of "pls gaga make a jazz album!" comments. And a lot of non-monsters are hyped when they found out that she is in fact making a Jazz album with Tony Bennett. It may not outsold her contemporaries' records but it's not meant to outsell them anyway. It's a Jazz album so it has its own demographics. I'm not an American nor live in the US but I've heard Jazz albums do good during Fall/Winter there so I think Cheek to Cheek will do good given the fact that it's by Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga. No matter how silent Gaga is in charts, people will still going to talk about her and will buy her new record.
swine killer 0
Saving Grace? the only Saving Grace she need is her fans, and they need help
Bambino 24,267
At least, it'll introduce her to new audiences. It won't necessarily help her because it's a jazz album and Gaga is a pop singer.
giskardsb 12,565
I don't think she had a single thought about charts or sales or public perception or target market or branding or any of that crap. She just wanted to make good music with Tony.
