GypsyHaus 0
Do you honestly believe that Cheek to Cheek will be Gaga's Saving Grace and top the charts worldwide and get universal acclaim! I honestly don't think it will be I just can't see it happening. I don't think it will under preform though, but it won't be a commercial smash. It'll be like ARTPOP I think- a respectable moderate success. I think it will get good reviews though, and might help people realise her talent, but as I said, I don't think it will 'boost' her in any way. What do you think :) Side note: In future, don't talk things up and expect they're going to sell outstandingly then call it a flop when it doesn't meet your expectations. Just some advice

WH0RE 1
its not going to be massively succesfull obviously... but if its good it will gain back respect for Gaga
BLACKOUTbritney 22,356
Yes. Duets sold 1,000,000 copies in the US and around 2,500,000 worldwide. Tony is huge to jazz fans, and Gaga is perfect for a jazz record. I only see this benefiting Gaga
Gohan 16,414
Does it really matter tho? She made the album with artistic vision. Not to slay the charts It's a JAZZ album, baby. It's not Pop music. tryna go ask Alice, tryna catch that rabbit

ItsTommyBitch 12,640
MUSIC not the BLIGAH 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
monketsharona 80,766
Not in term of charts but definitely in terms of image. Her talent is going to be exposed differently. Just her voice without overproduced music !
Gagz 2,579
Considering a #1 album with two top 10 songs that has sold 2M+ copies is a moderate success, I think we're setting her up for failure no matter what.
GypsyHaus 0
Does it really matter tho? I never said the charts did matter though, I couldn't care less about charts positions if it is quality music. I only made this thread because people were talking it up and I wanted to know if everyone really thought it would sell well, not to discuss how it actually will chart. It was only intended as a question :)

I meant in comparison to her previous records- I'm not well versed on the exact statistics, but her contemporaries as far as I know have sold better? But it doesn't really matter to me
