Addy Ezzie 2
No matter what she would have done, there would have been harsh critics. What matters the most to me is the music and the fact that she's happy about it.
GlitteredSpandex 0
No, imo it's her greatest artistic work to date (bar the monster ball)

dontbesweet 7
Personally I think it's her weakest album and it's not something I listen to now. I've definitely turned in my stan card - and I'm not at all tempted to go to the ARTPOP Ball - but I still am an occasional fan and GGD user.
Sexxx 5,629
no she could've just called it VENUS or something, seeing as the imagery is heavily focused on the Botticelli painting
fullofsheibe 0
Why are y'all being so negative about a slaying album? She debuted #1 in how many countries. Shame on those of you who think she flopped.

blahblahblahhhh 15
Well, not really. I like ARTPOP but I don't find it to be as strong as her previous releases, that's all.

I think after the huge peak of Born This Way it was a culture shock for some of her fans, and they didn't know how to handle it. I think in general though, some of her fans - hell, music listeners as a whole are more bothered with where something charts than what enjoyment they got from it. In 50 years when we look back on our lives, we're not going to think "Oh I'm so happy that peaked at #1", we're going to think about the music and how it made us feel and how we enjoyed it. djBuffoon 12,118
Absolutely not. It's my favorite album of hers, and the era has produced some of her finest videos and live performances. Not to mention a top-notch tour. If anything, I wish we had more of it.
