Jase 13,043
Finally got around to listening to the album. IT'S AMAZING. I'll never understand why they went with SD as the first single One More Summer NEEDS to be a single at some point.
kupo 201
I've a feeling after Looking Hot flops (lol, I'm being such a defeatist, but srsly, Interscope's promo with this album has F*CKING SUCKED), OMS will be tried next. Outside of the title track, it charted the highest of any of the songs on itunes. We already know the band (and some of those around them--like Gavin) love it, and it was used in the Target promo. I see OMS as a single at some point.
7Days 7
Why does everybody say Push And Shove is a ska/rock/alternative rock album??? ...I hear dance music in most of the songs :spin:
kupo 201
Why does everybody say Push And Shove is a ska/rock/alternative rock album??? ...I hear dance music in most of the songs I don't know many people who've called it that. I mean, it does have some dancehall/reggae/ska influences that pop up here and there (as No Doubt almost always does), and some of these songs have a "rock" sensibility. But this definitely leans strongly toward the pop end of the spectrum. 80's new wave goodness, mostly.
SoldierDown 49
Why didn't they release Push and Shove as the lead single? Or at least as a proper single now? I've seen a couple of people, who I didn't even know were fans, sharing the Push and Shove video on Facebook. People seem to get this song a lot more instantly. And then yesterday they go and perform months-old Settle Down on Jonathan Ross, which was pretty much the only UK promo they're doing. Anyway, does anyone have a link to the 4 Settle Down remixes that aren't Major Lazer/So Shifty? :)

Interscope fukced up promo for both No Doubt and Nelly Furtado... all their money goes for gaga and madonna :( What's the thing with Push and shove (the track) though? It's got a video, why isn't that a single? I just bought a kind of deluxe/collector edition ! It contains the deluxe edition + a 68 pages booklet, here are my pictures : Conclusion : Ur hot

kupo 201
I never go to concerts. Just not usually my thing (especially in big venues). But I don't care: I'm seeing them live the next time they tour. And yes, this album continues to grow for me, even though I outright loved it on first listen. I'm fairly confident this will be my fave mainstream pop album this year.
SoldierDown 49
I literally haven't stopped listening to it since I got it last Thursday, and honestly, even the songs I thought were just 'okay' at first I now love. They're all brilliant! My only complaints now would be that A) I want more! No bonus tracks and a short album sucks! B) Interscope doing so **** with the promo for this amazing band and amazing album. And C) they should be releasing Push and Shove as a proper single, because it's incredible.
