Omg. It's so hard for me to listen to all of this new music. I feel like it was a dry sahara all summer and then once september hit, everything got released or leaked. LOL

Only song I have heard so far is Easy and I love it!

Fan of many tracks so far, but I find that many of the songs are too long. I worked hard so I could find the Settle Down radio edit, and the version of Push And Shove that I had downloaded a few weeks ago is WAY BETTER than the album one (a bit shorter, flows better by having less slow parts).

The only track that I think is too long is maybe One More Summer (and I say that with it being one of my favorite tracks). And that's simply because I don't think it benefits from having the ending go on *quite* as long as it does. It's just not quite dynamic enough compared to the rest of the song to justify it.

But I think every other song here is better for being a bit longer than the typical pop song. No Doubt gave these songs room to breathe, and that's so rare in pop music. I understand the desire for a radio edit of Settle Down (I mean, I myself don't always listen to the intro and outro), but it's a way better song *with* them. Like, just as a piece of art, and me not worrying about my itunes play count, the intro and outro of Settle Down give it so much personality and texture.

Just A Holy Fool

Good album overall. So far I really like Looking Hot, Easy, Push and Shove and Sparkle. Its not connecting with me though the way I'd like.... I liked Rock Steady, but didn't love it... and I think this is how this one will compare. I guess I still am holding out hope for them to go back to their Tragic Kingdom and Return To Saturn sounds....

Half the record sounds like it could be a Gwen solo album IMO.

I just like to find personality and texture in a 3-minute song lol :lolgaga: But I totally understand what you're saying!

SoldierDown

So do the standard CD and deluxe CD have the same cover?

Because if they do I'm just ordering the standard seeing as the only additional stuff on the deluxe is acoustic/remixes.
